pcatR preserves those components and derives item-level
descriptive categories. It does not calculate an overall validated pCAT

The profile exporter validates every page before writing a temporary PDF and replaces the requested path only after the complete temporary file is nonempty.
The temporary path keeps this documentation example out of the current working directory. For real analyses, choose an explicit, approved project output directory.
